A week's review of Zhengzhou hot rolled plate and coil market

This week (6.8-6.12), the local hot rolled plate and coil prices in Zhengzhou were mainly stable, and the market prices of BBNsteel carbon steel hot rolled coils 1.8mm and 2.0mm were 4,090 yuan/ton and 4,050 yuan/ton respectively. Taigang's 3.0mm carbon steel coil market price is 3840 yuan/ton, and Angang's 3.5mm Q235B carbon steel coil market price is around 3750 yuan/ton.

In terms of inventory, the stock of hot coils in the Zhengzhou market this week are basically flat compared with last week, and the current stock of BBNsteel is about 2700 tons. Some large-scale hot coil inventories are currently around 6,000 tons, and some Q345B thick hot rolled plate resources are scarce.

In terms of transactions, the overall shipment situation of the hot rolled plate and coil market in the near future has been general. BBNsteel has a daily transaction volume of about 220 tons and a shipment volume of about 150 tons. In terms of market mentality, most of the merchants still hold a wait-and-see attitude towards the market outlook due to the fact that there has been no obvious improvement in the recent transaction situation and the downstream purchasing enthusiasm is weak. On the whole, it is expected that the price of Zhengzhou's hot rolled coils will be mainly confined within a narrow range next week.
