European standard P355NL2 steel plate

Introduction to European standard P355NL2 steel plate for pressure vessels:
P355NL2 plate belongs to the European standard pressure vessel steel plate, and the steel plate can withstand low temperatures up to -50℃. Therefore, P355NL2 steel plate belongs to the ultra-low temperature quality level steel of the European standard, and the steel plate complies with EN10028 standard. There are also grades under this standard: P275NH, P275NL1, P275NL2, P355N, P355NH, P355NL1, P355NL2, P460NH, P460NL1, P460NL2.
Among them:
1) Room temperature quality level (P-N)
2) High temperature quality level (P-NH)
3) Low temperature quality level (P-NL1)
4) Ultra Low Temperature Quality Level (P-NL2)

Chemical composition analysis of P355NL2 steel plate %:
C:≤0.18, Si:≤0.50, Mn:1.10-1.70, P:≤0.025, S:≤0.008, Alt:≥0.020, N:≤0.012, Cr:≤0.30, Cu:≤0.30, Mo:≤0.08, Nb:≤0.05, Ni:≤0.50, Ti:≤0.03, V≤0.10.
Remarks: 1. Nb+Ti+V ≤0.12.

CEV of steel plate P355NL2:
Thickness t≤60mm, CEV≤0.43;
60<thickness≤100mm, CEV≤0.45;
100<thickness≤250mm, CEV≤0.45.

P355NL1 steel plate is an alloy special steel used for pressure equipment, with good plasticity, toughness, cold bending performance, and welding performance. It is used for manufacturing spherical storage tanks with a volume of over 50 cubic meters, as well as Class II and III containers such as single-layer welded vessels, multi-layer heat jacket welded vessels, multi-layer wrapped vessels, and low-temperature pressure vessels.

P355NL1 steel plate is widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical, power plants, boilers, etc., for the production of equipment and components such as reactors, heat exchangers, separators, spherical tanks, oil and gas tanks, liquefied gas tanks, boiler drums, liquefied petroleum gas cylinders, high-pressure water pipes in hydropower stations, turbine volutes, etc.
