S355N/S355NL steel plate is a hot-rolled structural steel product in accordance with the European standard EN10025-3. Other materials in the same series include S275N/S275NL, S420N/S420NL, S460N/S460NL, etc.
The full name of EN10025-3 standard is normalizing/normalizing rolled weldable fine grain structural steel plate, which, together with EN10025-1 and EN10025-4, replaces EN10113 standard.

The minimum value of impact energy specified in the EN10025-3 standard is N when the temperature is not lower than -20℃, and NL when the temperature is not lower than -50℃.
