The chemical composition of the alloy wear-resistant layer has a carbon content of 4 to 5% and a chromium content of 25 to 30%. The hardness is HV1400-1800. Because the carbides are distributed in a straight direction in the wear direction, the wear resistance of the NM600 wear-resistant plate is more than doubled even compared with the cast alloy of the same composition and hardness.
Impact resistance of NM600 wear plate:
The base plate of the wear-resistant composite steel plate is low carbon steel or low alloy steel. Resistant materials such as stainless steel reflect the superiority of bimetals, the wear-resistant layer resists the wear of the abrasive medium, and the substrate receives the load of the medium, so it has good impact resistance. NM600 steel plate can accept impact and wear such as high drop hoppers in material handling systems.
Heat resistance of NM600 steel plate:
The alloy wear-resistant layer is used under the working condition of ≤600. If vanadium, molybdenum and other alloys are added to the alloy wear-resistant layer, it can withstand high temperature wear of ≤800.
