P355NL1 steel and P355NL2 steel both are weldable fine gran steels for pressure purposes. These steel plates are supplied in normalized condition. For the chemical composition, there are subtle differences of phosphorus and sulphur content as follows.

For the mechanical properties, P355NL1 steel and P355NL2 steel plates have same tensile requirements at room temperature. The tensile strength minimum is 355MPa at thickness less than 16mm.
P355NL1 steel plate shall be done low temperature impacting test in transverse at -40 ℃ with impact energy min. 27J. P355NL2 steel plate shall be done special low temperature impacting test at -50℃.
