Macro and industry news:
From January to February, the value added of industries above designated size in the country actually fell by 13.5% year-on-year; total retail sales of consumer goods fell by 20.5% year-on-year; national fixed asset investment fell by 24.5% year-on-year; in February, the national urban unemployment rate was 6.2%. As the effectiveness of domestic epidemic prevention and control continues to show, the second quarter should pick up significantly from the first quarter.
From January to February, the investment in real estate development nationwide fell by 16.3% year-on-year; the floor space of newly started housing fell by 44.9%; the floor space of commercial housing sales fell by 39.9%; the sales of commercial housing fell by 35.9%. At the end of February, the floor space of commercial buildings for sale increased by 31.84 million square meters from the end of 2019.
