Mysteel today (March 13th) released the results of a blast furnace overhaul survey at a steel plant. The blast furnace operating rate of investigated 247 steel plants at 72.59%, an increase of 0.35% from last week and a decrease of 1.28% year-on-year; the utilization rate of blast furnace ironmaking capacity was 73.90%, an increase of 0.12%, and a decrease of 2.68%; the profit rate of steel plants was 77.73%, a decrease of 3.24 %; The average daily output of hot metal is 2.0666 million tons, an increase of 33,300 tons, and a year-on-year decrease of 75,100 tons.
 
In addition, the blast furnace operating rate of 163 steel plants was investigated at 64.50%, an increase of 0.97% from the previous week, and a capacity utilization rate of 73.33%, an increase of 0.46%. The utilization rate excluding the eliminated capacity was 79.83%, which was an increase of 0.37% from the same period last year. The rate was 70.55%, down 3.07%.
