According to Nigeria's Daily Times on December 10, Africa Natural Resources and Mining Co., Ltd. has decided to invest $600 million (183 billion naira) in Kaduna to set up an integrated ore mining and smelting processing enterprise.
Finance Minister Zainaba Ahmed said it was the first major investment in mining in more than two decades. The project will create 3,500 direct and thousands of indirect jobs, promote solid mineral industry and overall economic development, achieve economic diversification and increase government revenue.
