ASTM A387 material is suitable for refining and gas treatment in hydrogenation reaction and conversion equipment at high temperature. The thickness of A387 steel plate can reach 250mm. According to different thickness and impact requirements, the heat treatment of ASTM A387 steel plate should be normalizing plus tempering or normalizing plus rapid cooling plus tempering.
By using special smelting methods, the content of phosphorus can be reduced so that ASTM A387 steel plate has high brittleness resistance and good impact toughness at low temperature.
