16Mo3 plate is the European standard (EN10028) steel plate for pressure vessels. The grade of 16Mo3 steel plate is named after the carbon content of the steel plate is 160 and the molybdenum content is 300. 16Mo3 steel plate is often used in the manufacture of industrial boilers, and as a weldable steel in stainless steel pressure vessels, it is often used in petroleum, chemical, natural gas and other industries.
12Cr1MoV steel plate implements GB/T3077 and is a high-performance alloy material. 12Cr1MoV steel plate has high oxidation resistance and thermal strength. The creep limit of this steel is very close to the permanent strength value, and it has high plasticity under the condition of permanent stretching; the steel has good manufacturability and weldability, but it needs to be preheated to 300℃ before welding, and the stress needs to be removed after welding.
16Mo3 corresponds to the Chinese standard 12Cr1MoV steel plate. 16Mo3 plate is usually delivered in a normalized state, and can also be delivered in an untreated state according to customer requirements. 16Mo3 is smelted by electric furnace + out-of-furnace refining + vacuum degassing, fine-grain killed steel.
12Cr1MoV steel plate is mainly used after normalizing and high temperature tempering to manufacture superheated steel pipes, conduits, serpentine pipes and other corresponding forgings whose working temperature does not exceed 570℃ in high pressure equipment.
16Mo3, 12Cr1MoV steel plate welding method:
16Mo3 and 12Cr1MoV steel plates are different from other materials during welding: the steel plates should be preheated first, and the welds should be kept warm for about 30 minutes after the welding is completed.
