The market price of Zhengzhou hot rolled plates stable

The market price of Zhengzhou hot rolled plates and coils is basically stable this week. The carbon steel market prices of BBN steel 1.8mm and 2.75mm are 4360 yuan/ton and 4020 yuan/ton respectively, and the 3.0mm carbon steel plates market prices are 3950 yuan/ton and 3.5mm. The market price of the above ordinary carbon steel plate is about 3930 yuan/ton; the market price of Q345B low alloy plate above 3.5mm thickness is about 4030 yuan/ton.
 
Looking back at this week (2020.6.19-6.28), under the support of low inventories, the local hot-rolled plates market prices were basically stable. Despite the recent weakening of the overall steel market, due to the current limited hot-rolling resources, local merchants have relatively strong willingness to set prices. In terms of resources, local steel mills have basically produced normally in the near future. However, due to the large proportion of hot-rolled steels, the market has relatively limited general material resources and incomplete specifications, which has formed strong support for the market. Taken together, it is expected that local market prices may continue to consolidate in the short term.
