S355JR European standard low alloy high strength steel plate

S355JR belongs to low alloy high strength structural steel and is European standard steel plate. S355JR steel plate performance standard: EN10025-2.

S355JR grade extension: S355JR-Z15, S355JR-Z25, S355JR-Z35 steel plate, which is the Z-direction representation.

Application range of S355JR steel plate:
S355JR is applied to medium-strength structural parts of aircraft, propeller blades, transportation vehicles and building structural parts, medium strength bolts and rivets for aircraft. S355JR is applied to aircraft skin, diaphragm, wing rib, wing beam, rivet, and other structural parts of construction and transportation vehicles.

Chemical composition of S355JR steel plate:
C: ≤0.22, Si: ≤0.55, Mn: ≤1.60, P: ≤0.025, S: ≤0.025, N: ≤0.012, Cu: ≤0.55

S355 steel grade equivalent:
S355JR is equivalent to Q345B in China
S355J0 is equivalent to Q345C in China
S355J2 is equivalent to Q345D in China
S355K2 is equivalent to domestic Q345E

Mechanical properties of S355JR steel plate:
The hardness is 70-80B, and the yield strength is between 300-400MPa.
For impact test,+20 degree impact energy shall not be less than 27 kJ
