Q345R material has comprehensive mechanical property and welding property. Q345R material shows good performance in structural purposes, so it is widely used as welding structural part in manufacturing of ships, railway and vehicles, bridges, boiler, pressure vessel container, steel oil tanks, etc.
The minimum yield strength of Q345R material is 345 Mpa for thin thickness and tensile strength above 510 Mpa. The Q345R equivalent ASTM material is A516 Grade 70 in specification of ASTM A516/A516M.
