Low alloy high strength SA737 grade B SA737 GrC steel plate for pressure vessels

SA737 grade B and SA737 GrC steel plates are low alloy high strength pressure vessel steel plates complying with the standards of American Mechanical Engineering Association.

SA737 grade B, SA737 GrC steel plate heat treatment and implementation standards:
The steel plate material shall be heated to the appropriate temperature for normalizing to form the austenitic structure, but the temperature shall not exceed 925℃. The time required at this temperature shall be maintained so that the entire material is uniformly heated and then cooled in air.

The executive standard is SA737/SA737M, which belongs to ASME standard.

Mechanical properties of SA737 grade B and SA737 GrC steel plates:
Yield strength ≥ 345MPa;
Tensile strength: 485-620MPa;
Elongation 18%.

Melting analysis and finished product analysis of SA737 grade B and SA737 GrC pressure vessel steel plates:
Melting analysis: C content is less than or equal to 0.20%; Mn content 1.15-1.50%; P content is less than or equal to 0.025%; S content is less than or equal to 0.025%; Si content 0.15-0.50%; Nb content is less than or equal to 0.05%;

Finished product analysis: C content is less than or equal to 0.22%; Mn content 1.07-1.62%; P content is less than or equal to 0.025%; S content is less than or equal to 0.025%; Si content 0.10-0.55%; Nb content is less than or equal to 0.05%.
