The TB/T1979 09CuPCrNi-A corten steel billets are delivered to 1500mm hot continuous rolling mill. The Cu content of 09CuPCrNi-A corten steel is high, and the "copper brittle" is easy to occur during the heating process. That is, the surface of the 09CuPCrNi-A steel billets is easily cracked when heated, which causes the edge crack of the finished 09CuPCrNi-A corten steel plate.
Therefore, BBN steel adhere to the "high temperature heating and fast firing" principle, to ensure the corten steel billet heated in reduction or neutral atmosphere, to speed up the improvement of heating temperature, to prevent excessive oxidation, to reduce the grain boundary and the slab surface enrichment of Cu, to avoid the edge crack in rolling process, and to reduce the heating temperature appropriately. The heating temperature of the 09CuPCrNi-A corten steel billets is 1160~1210 ℃, and the heating time is not less than 80 min.
TB/T1979 09CuPCrNi-A corten steel material is hard and usually has a thin rolling specification. The rolling force and rolling current of the finishing mill is large and easy to cause accidents in the rolling process. Therefore, the thickness of the intermediate 09CuPCrNi-A corten steel billet need to be reduced properly. According to the specifications of the finished products, the thickness of the middle 09CuPCrNi-A corten steel billet is generally selected at 26~29 mm. After the 09CuPCrNi-A corten steel strip is out of the finishing mill, the water cooling is done in a dense way, the front section is accelerated cooling, and the back section controls the coiling temperature. The coiling temperature is (620 + 15) ℃.
Just like you, 70% customers choose long-term cooperation with BBN steel not only for our good product and service quality, good reputation in the international market, but also for our experienced one-stop raw material supply and further steel processing!
