321 grade stainless steel (UNS S32100) is a titanium stabilized austenitic stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance and high-temperature strength. Its chemical composition mainly includes chromium (17-19%), nickel (9-12%), and titanium (at least 5 times the carbon content). The addition of titanium effectively inhibits the formation of chromium carbide and improves its resistance to intergranular corrosion. 321 material exhibits excellent performance in oxidizing and weakly reducing environments and is suitable for high-temperature applications.
The mechanical properties of UNS S32100 are outstanding, with a tensile strength of 515 MPa, a yield strength of 205 MPa, and an elongation of 40% in the annealed state. Its working temperature range is wide, and it can be used for a long time from -200 ℃ to 800 ℃, with a short-term temperature tolerance of up to 900 ℃.
