EN 10028-3 P355NL1 steel is welded fine grain steel in normalized condition. The character P means the steel for pressure purposes. 355 indicates the minimum yield strength (MPa) for plates 16 mm thick and below. NL1 is ideal for use in low temperatures.
Mechanical Properties: P355NL1 has higher required impact values at all specified temperatures and in both longitudinal and transverse directions. It also specifies requirements for transverse impact testing at -40 deg C.
