SA387Gr11CL2 is an American standard chromium-molybdenum alloy steel plate, as well as an American standard container plate. It is a kind of boiler container steel plate. It has the properties of preventing hydrogen embrittlement, hydrogen corrosion, hydrogen stripping, and sulfide corrosion in a medium temperature ( 350 - 480℃ ) hydrogen environment. At the same time, SA387Gr11CL2 steel has good low temper brittleness and is widely used in the manufacture of fertilizers, petrochemicals and thermal power plant equipment, such as synthetic ammonia reactors, coal gasifiers, shift furnaces and hydrogenation reactors.
Scope of application: This technical condition is applicable to the production of SA387Gr22CL2 (2 1/4Cr-1Mo) steel plate for hydrogen equipment with thickness ≤150mm. SA387Gr11CL2 material is suitable for refining and gas treatment in hydrogenation reaction and conversion equipment at high temperature, and the maximum thickness of steel plate can reach 250mm thickness.
SA387Gr11CL2 steel should be smelted by electric furnace or oxygen converter plus vacuum degassing and refining process, and should be essentially fine-grain killed steel.
Alloy steel sheet SA387Gr11Cl2 delivery status: According to different thickness and impact requirements, the heat treatment of SA387Gr11Cl2 steel plate selects normalizing plus tempering or normalizing plus rapid cooling plus tempering.
SA387GR22CL2 plate delivery status : The steel plate is delivered in normalized (guaranteed bainite structure ≥90% accelerated cooling rate) + tempered state, the normalizing temperature shall not exceed 968℃, and the tempering temperature shall not be lower than 720℃.
