Chinese steel price News! The top steel mill Baosteel rose 10-30 USD per ton in January!

After study of market situation and present demands, Baosteel mill has made adjustment in Jan. 2018 steel price as below:

1.Thick steel plates
The thick steel plates price increase 15 usd / ton.

Baosteel medium and thick steel plates Branch issued 2018 January futures prices of S235JR A36 ST37-2 SS400 S355JR ST52-3 A572GR.50 A285C A516GR.70, ABS Grade A, LR A etc wide thick steel plates. Based on December futures prices of wide and thick steel plates, the boiler steel plate price, container plate/ corten steel plates price, shipbuilding steel plates/ marine grade steel plates price increase by 15 usd / ton. The S235JR A36 ST37-2 SS400 14-20mm plate price is 640 usd / ton, S355JR ST52-3 A572GR.50 14-20mm low alloy plates price is 660 usd / ton, A285C 14-20mm pressure vessel and boiler steel plate price is 655 usd / ton, A516GR.70 14-20mm vessel steel price is 660 usd / ton, ABS Grade A, LR A 14-20mm shipbuilding steel price is 645 usd/ ton.

All of the above are tax free, and the date of execution is from January 1, 2018.

2.Hot rolling steel plates
The hot rolling steel plates price increase 18.5 usd / ton.

3.Steel pickling
Baoshan production base pickling seel price remain unchanged; Meishan, Dongshan production bases pickling steel price increase 12 usd / ton.
