Boron alloy steel grades and applications

40B alloy steel: It can be used as gear, steering rod, axle cam, etc., and can be replaced with 40Cr steel when manufacturing parts with low requirements

45B alloy steel: It can replace 40Cr steel when it is used as crank handle of tractor to manufacture parts with small size and low surface requirement.

50B alloy steel: Used for manufacturing gear, steering shaft rod, shaft, cam, shaft handle, etc.

40MnB alloy steel: It can be used as steering arm, knuckle, steering shaft, half shaft worm, spline shaft, brake adjusting arm, etc. it can also be used to manufacture large section structural parts.

45MnB alloy steel: It can replace 40Cr and 45Cr to produce more wear-resistant medium and small section quenched and tempered parts, such as machine tool gear, drilling machine, spindle, tractor crank shaft, crankshaft gear, idler gear, separator, spline shaft and sleeve, etc.

20Mn2B alloy steel: Instead of 20Cr, carburized parts with larger size, simpler shape and less complicated force are manufactured, such as shaft sleeve, gear, tappet of automobile valve, wedge pin, steering roller shaft, adjusting bolt, etc.; when used in small section, the performance is similar to 20CrMnTi and 15CrMnMo steel.

20MnMoB alloy steel: Used for manufacturing medium load parts, such as gears, shafts, etc.
