A387 Gr22 CL1 Cr Mo alloy steel pate of mo is the role of fine grain strengthening and improving the stability of tempering effect, Cr is the role of solid solution strengthening and improving the corrosion resistance of steel. ASTM A387 Gr 22 CL 1 steel plate is a chromium molybdenum alloy steel plate intended primarily for welded boiler and pressure vessels designed of elevated temperature service.

The Cr content 2.25 % and the Mo content 1.00 % of A387 Gr22 CL1 Cr Mo alloy steel plate .Each grade except grade 21L, Grade 22L, Grade 91 and Grade 911 is available in two classes of tensile strength levels. Grade 91 and Grade 911 are available only as Class 2.
