ASTM A387 Gr 5 CL1 pressure vessel steel plate ,high quality chromium-molybdenum alloy steel plate, ideal for use in pressure vessels and industrial boilers due to it's excellent heat resistant and anti corrosion properties. A387 Gr 5 CL1 pressure vessel steel plate finds wide application in the oil and gas industry and in the power industry where hot liquids and gases are often being transferred between different processing modules.

ASTM A387 Gr 5 CL 1 steel plate is a chromium molybdenum alloy steel plate intended primarily for welded boiler and pressure vessels designed of elevated temperature service. The Cr content 5.00% and the Mo content0.5%.Each grade except grade 21L, Grade 22L, Grade 91 and Grade 911 is available in two classes of tensile strength levels. Grade 91 and Grade 911 are available only as Class 2.
