EN10028-3 P460NL1 and P460NL2 are European special alloy steels for pressure purposes and mainly used for manufacturing pressure vessels and boilers and tanks. The mechanical properties requirement of P460NL1 and P460NL2 steel are same. However, their chemical requirements have little difference as follow.

Difference of low temperature impacting test
Pressure vessel steel P460NL1 shall be done low temperature impacting test at -40 ℃. P460NL2 steel plate shall be done special low temperature impacting test at -50℃.
The material number of P460NL1 steel is 1.8915, and that of P460NL2 steel is 1.8918.
