Shipbuilding steel , also is known as hull steel , can be divided into the following types : steel plates, angle steel , flat-bulb steel, flat bar, steel pipe, and steel bar. The above steel is the main steel type for shipbuilding. Moreover, sometimes stainless steel also can be used in shipbuilding. Shipbuilding steel, just as its name implies, the main application is for Shipbuilding and ship repairing, also can be used for oil platform etc.
Henan bebon international co.,Ltd , is professional in exporting the steel for shipbuilding and oil platform. Our product have the following several feature 1.The size of steel plates we can supply is 3mm-180mm * 1250mm-4000mm * 3000mm-18000mm 2.The main standard our steel is according to ASTM A131,API. 3.The main classification society we cooperate are: ABS ,GL, LR, BV, NK,DNV,KR,RINA. 4.Productive technology: HR,CR,TMCP,N,Q&T,IMPACT TEST,Z15,Z25,Z35. 5.Hard stamp about the brand of manufacturer, Heat No.,Batch No., steel grade, steel size, and the brand of Classification Society. 6.Blasting according to SA2.5 standard, and the shop primed on the steel, coating thickness is 15-35 micrometer.

The shipbuilding steel classification includes four grade which consist of A, B, C and D, all of these classifications have the same tensile strength(400~520N/mm^2) and yield strength(more than 235N/mm^2), however, their impact energy varies when under different temperature. High-strength hull structural steels usually divides their intensity level by the minimum yield strength, and according to their different strength levels and impact toughness each intensity level steel can be divided into four grades which include A, D, E and F.

A, D, E and F in these grades(as following) is classified by the minimum impact toughness that they can achieve when under the temperature like 0°,-20°,-40°,-60°respectively. A32, D32, E32, F32: yield strength≥ 315N/mm^2 tensile strength:440~570N/mm^2 A36, D36, E36, F36: yield strength≥355N/mm^2 tensile strength:490~620N/mm^2 A40, D40, E40, F40: yield strength≥390N/mm^2 tensile strength:510~660N/mm^2
