S275JR is a hot rolled low carbon structural steel plate in the European standard EN 10025, with MS (Mild Steel) representing its soft steel properties. Yield strength ≥ 275MPa, carbon content ≤ 0.21%, with both economic and basic mechanical properties.
S275JR steel plate is produced through hot rolling process, with the surface retaining oxide skin (black iron plate). The "JR" mark indicates that its impact energy at room temperature is ≥ 27J. It is suitable for static structural components such as building frames and guardrails.
