ASTM 410S stainless steel strip is a martensitic stainless steel. 410 (13Cr) has good corrosion resistance and mechanical processing performance for general purpose steel, cutting steel. 410S is improved steel corrosion resistance and formability 410 steel.

ASTM 410S stainless steel strip is a non-hardening modification of Type 410. Control of the chemistry balance (low carbon and optional additions of Ti or Nb) minimizes austenite formation at high temperatures, restricting the alloy’s ability to harden.
