What is iron-melting furnace?
Iron-melting furnace is a kind of furnace with similar structure to blast furnace, but its volume is much smaller. Iron-melting furnace is widely used for liquid iron production in casting shop.
This furnace is essentially a heat resistant lining steel container with height about 6 to 10 meters and loading inside cold cast iron, can also adding some scrap iron, coke and limestone solvents. Blast has sped up the combustion inside the furnace.
Continuous processing method can produce high quality steel with low cost and can be used for auto parts and drain cover, etc.
More than half of global gray cast iron and ductile iron liquid iron as needed is all produced by iron-melting furnace. However, gradually strict environmental regulation is one of the pressure against the processing method of user.
