Deep drawing is a mechanical process, in this process the steel plate through strictly squeeze and maintain consistent thickness- Such as tanks, canister, boxes or special elements. Eventually, deep drawing steel has the characteristic that even the metal mold suffer fast and complete deformation will not broken.
Deep drawing steel are widely used in food beverage packaging industry, the automotive industry and general engineering. Automobile manufactures typically use the hot rolled deep drawing steel for the body or structural parts, chassis parts and rim; and the steel under the cold reducing conditions can be used for complex body parts, doors, panels and other car parts.
Deep drawing steel carbon manganese content is very low, but depending on the application, there also residual a small amount of titanium, chromium, nickel and copper.
These plates can be coated or not coated, and some stainless steel can also use deep drawing machining.
