ASTM S20200 stainless steel is an austenitic chromium-nickel-manganese stainless steel tdat was developed originally to conserve nickel.
S20200 stainless steel provides properties similar to 301 steel and can be used in most applications for 301 steel. tdis alloy is nonmagnetic in tde annealed condition, but becomes slightly magnetic when cold worked. tde rate of work hardening is similar to 301 steel,altdough ASTM S20200 steel develops somewhat higher yield strengtd while retaining equal ductility when cold worked.Toughness at low temperature is excellent.
