Material no. 1.0045
according to DIN EN 10025-2
Tensile strength class B
Specification : S355JR, S355AR & S355K2+N
S355 – a structural grade steel with a minimum yield strength of 355 N/mm².
Commonly used in the engineering and construction industry, S355 offers high yield and tensile strength and is supplied with a variety of treatments and test options making it a highly usable steel in your construction project.
Henan BEBON international co.,ltd can supply S355 from stock to customers on a worldwide basis.
About S355 Common Steels
A structural grade (S) with at minimum yield strength of 355 N/mm²m, the JR designation confirms that the steel has undergone longitudinal Chary V-Notch impact testing at 27J (Joules) at room temperature. Other Charpy designations include JO, J2 and K2.

S355AR
A structural grade (S) with the same minimum yield strength of 355 N/mm²m, but supplied in an 'as rolled condition'.
S355KN2+N
As S355JR but Charpy tested at 40J (Joules) at -20°C and supplied in the normalised condition.
EN 10025 S355K2G3
Steel grade S355K2G3 is a low carbon, high strength structural steel which can be readily welded to other weldable steel and good in toughness for service at ambient and low temperature. With its low carbon equivalent, it possesses good cutting and cold-forming properties. The plate is produced by fully killed, fine grain steel process.
APPLICATION
Machinery parts, mobile equipment, crane, boom, chassis, buildings, bridges, earth moving equipment and high stress structural activities, ship building, off shore and marine structures, storage tank etc.
