DIN 17102 Series Weldable Normalized Fine Grain Structural Steel plates

Applications:

This standard DIN 17102 StE255/WStE255/TStE255/EStE255 applies to hot rolled products in the form of flats(plate, strip, wide, flats), sections and bars of weldable fine grain structural steels exhibiting. Its minimum yield strength of 225 to 255 n/mm referred to the lowest thickness.
So if the products of steels covered by this standard and made or used for plants subject to regular inspection, the relevant codes of practice, e.g. Technical rules on pressure vessels.
In addition to the specifications of this standard, the general technical delivery conditions for steel contained in DIN 17010 StE255/WStE255/TStE255/EStE255 shall apply except where stated to the contrary below.
