A299 steel is Widely used in petroleum industry, chemical industry, power station, boiler with making tank, equipments or hardware like reactor, heat exchanger, seperator, sphere, liquid gas storage nuclear-power reacto, pressure vessel, boiler drum, liquified petroleum gas pot, volute and so on.
A299 steel in 50 mm and under in thickness are normally supplied in the as-rolled condition. Plates may be ordered normalized or stress relieved, or both. Plates over 50 mm in thickness shall be normalized.
A299 steel plate dimension:
Thickness: 6MM to 300MM,
Width: 1500mm to 4050mm,
Length: 3000mm to 15000mm.
A299 steel shall be killed and shall conform to the fine austenitic grain size requirement. Tension test shall be made to conform to the requirements specified.
